I'd like to see him get "relief" duty for half a season before becoming a starter. The only other way, which the mucky-mucks in the top floor offices deplore, is to have the first team try to obliterate the guy in training camp: if he survives, then start him. Sort of like the difference between jumping in a cold lake or easing in: sometimes the shock is enough to short out the brain and send you to the bottom. I'd rather see him survive. |

| Re: The New Jones Boy Actually, you are right about them being light in RB dept. Yeah, if Barber goes down, Jones will have to be the power back. All there are after him are rookies and no names. Guess they are counting on him to be the guy. They must think he can do it because there have been RBs on the market and they werent interested. Here's hoping they know something we dont. |

But I haven't yet figured out what they are .. I just know they're different than mine. Why didn't he go for Travis Henry? Doesn't he like players with reversed names? |

| Re: The New Jones Boy Nah, dont think Henry was bad enough. I mean he only does drugs and owes each of the nine mothers of his children child support. Maybe if he slugged one of them a couple of times Jones would pay more attention. but then again, Henry isnt all that talented. Most certainly not like an Adam Jones. |
