| Re: Cowboys shopping for backup quarterback Brett Favre. Because if Brett Favre had no arms and no legs, he'd still be the best torso in football. Seriously, I think taking a chance on Simms would be a good move. Or maybe Gradkowski would fit the bill. |

It really would be a chance on Simms. He was just developing when he went down and who knows whether he can still play. Gradkowski doesnt do it for me. I dont know why. Leftwich and Culpepper still think they are starters. Too bad they lost Matt Moore. He was coming along nicely. We have a playoff team. We need a playoff caliber backup. If that makes any sense. |

Geez, Leftwich? Culpepper? I wouldn't touch either one with a 10 foot pole right now, the former due to injury concerns and the latter, well, for one thing he only wants to go somewhere were he would start and for another I think he's washed up. As it stands now, I don't see any slam-dunk backup types out there in free agency.

I think Culpepper could back up. He most certainly wouldnt be any worse than Brad from what I saw of him in Oakland last year. Personally, I think Joey Harrington would be worse. Or is he signed somewhere already? |
