1. one year ago- one player
2. two years ago-one
3. three years ago-none
4. four years ago-none
5. five years ago-none
6. six years ago and the last year of Dave Campo's tenure as head coach they had one.

Here is how bad one was in the 2004 season-Richie Anderson was the 4th ranked half-back. The starting quarterback was No. 28 of the 28 ranked quarterbacks, Quincy Carter.
This year five players are ranked among the top 50 in the NFL. That is the most of any of the 32 teams in the NFL. They are Demarcus Ware 6th, TO 8th, Romo 18th, Newman 36, and Barber 44.
Yes, this is the 12th season the Cowboys are in search of a playoff victory. But this time they have all their oars in the water and have a roster full of talent. It has to help and is better than six years of none to one.
