When Jason Witten left UT in 2003, he needed 25 hours for his undergraduate degree. It was something that aways ate at him. He found the motivation he needed in the young fans at his football camp, the ones in Tennessee who rank him as their all time favorite, and the kids who wear a No. 82 jersey in Dallas on Sunday.
"That's the biggest thing of all," Witten said, "to be a role model."
He is now a college graduate with a sports management degree.
Witten is being included among the elite group of tight ends in the NFL that includes Tony Gonzalez and Antonio Gates. His 96 receptions in 2007 breaks a Cowboy single season record for tight ends and makes him only the third tight end in history to catch that many.

This guy would be a great addition for any team and I am most certainly glad he plays for the Cowboys. His talent is undeniable and he is only going to get better. But his character makes him stand out the most I think. Here is someone those youngsters can look up to. Jason definitely has his priorities in order, dont you think??
