TO to play into his forties?

Jerry Rice was going strong in the NFL when TO joined him in San Fran at the start of his career. TO was impressed with the work ethic of Rice and how he took care of his body. TO thinks a lot of that rubbed off on him.
But no matter how great the work ethic, it cant protect against the knees losing their cartilage as time goes on. Just ask Marvin Harrison who a year ago was on track to break Rice's records. Now there is a question if he will be able to play again.
Owens is a magnet for controversy, but he brings a flair and a flavor to the game.

TO is 35 and in magnificent shape. Can he play into his forties?

Re: TO to play into his forties?

As is stands right now, I think he can.
But when the body starts to go, it starts to go fast. Like you said, look at Harrison. So nothing's a given.

No doubt that he can. Another question is to what degree can he play ? As long as the front office keeps making offers with six zeros behind the initial number he'll say yes.
