An arbitrator has ruled that the Eagles are entitled to a refund of $769,120 from Terrill Owens for compensation of loss of his services in 2005. Owens has confirmed his intention to repay it. "They can have it. How they want it. In cash, pennies, they can get it." Read between the lines and it sounds ike Owens is calling it chump change--to the chumps.

I'm glad he's not giving any hassle about paying it back. Guess that part of his life is over for him.
Funny thing is I have read in a couple of Philadelphia blogs that even though the Eagles did the right thing in caving in to TO, what if they had not? With Owens on their roster they got to the Super Bowl for the first time since 1980. Without him they havent been there since. They ask how might things had turned out differently if only----

All I can say is "too bad Eagles. He's ours now."

NFL network mentioned the Eagles as possible Superbowl contenders this year. I said, "huh". Other than Brian Westbrook, who is insanely good, who else do they have?

They have a rookie receiver DeSean Jackson that they really like. He seems to be pretty fast. He hurt his hamstring the other day at practice but it doesnt seem to be serious.
They really improved their defense with Asante Samuel. He hurt his hamstring the same day. Not thought to be serious either.

You dont like him because of his behavior in the past I assume. His behavior has been better and those 15 TDs, 1355 receiving yards and 0 fumbles and lost balls last year dont sway your opinion at all???????????

Dont wait too long. His contract is only for what, 3 more years. He will be done then.

No, I just meant I was thinking if he was ever going to convince you there isnt much time left.

Pennies would suit me fine. But it would be a ton of pennies.

NASCAR diver Rusty Wallace once paid a fine in pennies. It was only 5K, and they still brought an armored car with em! I laughed my tail off!

If I remember right, they fined him another 5K, but it was worth it!
