In an interview with Bloomberg Radio, Terrell Owens said that Bill Parcells is out of touch with NFL players today. He criticizes Parcells' handling of Jason Taylor and said what Taylor was doing was his personal life and had nothing to do with football. Parcells likes to play games that are unnecessary he said.
Owens said the important thing is when you are on the football field you make plays.

Mike & Mike on the Morning is covering the story this morning too, and I like what they've been saying about it. When you're taking over a 1-15 team, you should come out and challenge a guy like Jason Taylor to be there, be focused on football and put the other stuff on the back burner for now. Problem is, that's not exactly what Parcells is doing. He hasn't come out and actually said that. Like T.O. said, he's playing games, and I'd have a lot more respect for Parcells and his stance if he just said the above.

I agree with that in a way, but Taylor is getting to the end of his career. He needs to think about a life after football, plan ahead you know? Its not enough if he's there from here on in and is the leader that is expect of him?
