| Cowboys wonder if there's a receiver in the house The Dallas Cowboys didnt get the big name receiver they wanted, so will look to players already on the roster. Of course, there is TO. Time will tell if Terry Glenn will come back from his knee injury to be a real threat. Patrick Crayton has slipped in popularity a bit after the playoff to the Giants. Miles Austin is the fastest player on the team after Terence Newman. Bill Parcells said he had big time play making ability, but needed time to develop after playing at tiny Monmouth. The three year rule says its his time. Sam Hurd doesnt have great speed but finds the open spaces. He is a solid special teams player. Neither Hurd or Austin are afraid of contact. Isaiah Stanbeck is a bit of a mystery. First he had to recover from a foot injury, and then he had to make the transition from college quarterback to NFL receiver. Dallas Cowboys wonder: Is there a receiver in the house? | Dallas Cowboys News | Sports News | Dallas Morning News | News for Dallas, Texas There you have it. In spite of Crayton's failings at the playoffs, I still think he will step up and get over that. We have forgiven Romo for his big goof up in the playoffs, I think we have to forgive Crayton too. I havent given up on him yet. Austin is next in line.
