If Pacman Jones wants to get paid like a top cornerback, he will have to earn it. He has a 4 year contract with $13.3 million, but has a chance to earn more if he hits an escalator that would raise his base 2011 salary to the franchise tag for a cornerback, with no signing bonus this year.
In order to cash in though, he needs to play at a high level. If he is named to 2 Pro Bowls or intercepts 7 passes in any 2 of his first 3 seasons and participates in at least 65% of the snaps, his base salary would jump to the 2011 tender.

I think they wrapped this guy up pretty tight. Only thing I read that someone worried that he would gamble for those interceptions and get burned on the play.
