Everyone at Valley Ranch knew that one day a key player would demand to be paid like the very best at his position. They should thought it would be DeMarcus Ware and not Marion Barber.
Has anyone ever got so much for doing so little?
Barber gets style points: fans and media love his take no prisoners style. He is fun to watch. But he hasnt proved he can do it alone or stay healthy long term. And he has a red flag attached to him because his style puts him at risk for injury.
The 5 years $30 million should be the Cowboys final offer. Or maybe let him play for the $2.6 million guaranteed by the tender and he can prove what he's worth. If he has a good season, they can resign him or franchise him.

I find myself agreeing with this. Does anyone else?
