| Campo--back where he started The worst head coach in the history of the Dallas Cowboys is back--as the team's secondary coach. And believe it or not, this is a good thing. Despite his failure as a head coach he is one of the best assistants in franchise history. James Washington, Larry Brown and Darren Woodson bloomed under his tutelage. Campo knows how to rekindle dwindling safety Roy Williams. To be fair, there were other factors involved in Campo's head coaching failure. Like no quarterback (Ryan Leaf, Quincy Carter, Chad Hutchinson, Clint Stoerner, Anthony Wright, do they ring a bell?) He was in Dallas for 14 years. "I'll always be a Cowboy," said Campo Dallas - News - Dave Campo Is Back Where His Pro Career Started One of the things I remember best is that 5-11 season and losing the opening game to the expansion Texans. Maybe this is a good thing. Especially if he can Williams fired up again. Your thoughts?

| Re: Campo--back where he started Why not? Dick LeBeau returned to Pittsburgh as a defensive coordinator after failing miserably as a head coach, and he's doing his old job as well as ever. It just goes to show you that some people just aren't cut out to be head coach material. Campo's one of them, but I fully expect him to work wonders once more in the Dallas secondary.
