PacMan headed to Big D??????????

Citing unnamed NFL sources, Adam Schefter of NFL Network is reporting that the Cowboys are attempting to acquire suspended Tennessee Titans cornerback Pacman Jones, and that trade talks between the teams are intensifying to the point that one person close to the talks predicts a deal could be completed in the next week.

ProFootballTalk.com - PACMAN HEADING TO BIG D?

This is a rumor that just wont die. I have a nasty feeling there is more to it than rumor now.
Dallas will give a mid round draft pick for him.
Actually, Titans ought to give Dallas the pick for taking him off their hands.
Jerry Jones said at the combine he wanted to add a "WOW" factor but he didnt expect it to be in the immediate future.
What
What an idiot!

Well, I sure hope he knows what he's getting into. I personally wouldn't touch Pac-Man with a 20 foot pole.

Pac Man + T.O. = Insanity Central! If Jones does go to the Cowboys I think Jones, Owens and Romo/Jessica would make for a great prime time reality show. I'm serious!

Re: PacMan headed to Big D??????????

Maybe Dallas is what he needs. Pacman has a ton of tallent. It's a shame he just couldn't control himself. Of course, I was at one of the first games he played in for the Titans and he never had a chance in this town... as soon as he started turning it around, the guy just couldn't keep himself out of trouble.

In TN, you should be a quality character... not just a quality player.

Re: PacMan headed to Big D??????????

Nobody mentioned Tank Johnson. Tank was a Bear, and I didn't think he was that bad. I wonder how much of my "forgiveness" for him was because he was on our team.

One thing is certain, Dallas is picking up the most talented, and most troubled players, and once they get them, the problems stop. Why is that? Is the organization just smarter? Do the local media, police, etc., look the other way, so they can have a good football team?

Re: PacMan headed to Big D??????????

Jerry Jones attributes the success of his team to his consultant, Calvin Hill.
(What I didnt realize before was that this is the same Calvin Hill who was the running back for the Cowboys and the first Dallas running back to have a 1000 yard season.)
Now remember that while Dallas had a reputation for the bad boys once, they have since cleaned up their act. Owens has (or had) a mouth, but he has never had any legal trouble that I am aware of. Tank is the only one and he has kept himself pretty clean so far.
I am thinking that the team got cleaned up when Parcells was coach, so hope this doesnt mean Jerry is going back to the old ways.
Of course, I have heard him say that the team has dealt with these types of troubled players before and the team was a success. Think Michael Irvin. Unfortunately, the individuals made a mess out of their lives personally.
Jerry is probably thinking bad boys=successful team.
He's still an idiot!

Okay T.O. and Pacman can't be grouped together, T.O. is just an immature baby sometimes, but has done nothing compared to what Pacman has done. I know Jerry Jones wants to win but shouldn't touch Pacman with a ten foot pole (no pun intended)
