This could very well be a negotiating ploy, but DeAngelo Hall told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that he hasn't OK'd a deal that would ship him to NFL purgatory (also known as Oakland).
Hall included the Cowboys on the list of teams he's been chatting with about a trade/new contract.

All indications from Valley Ranch are that the Cowboys are involved with any serious talks with Hall.

Personally, I really hope he just blowing smoke.
I believe the Cowboys are looking to fill the secondary in the draft.
Or do you think this would be an adequate fill in for the time being?

Their egos are overwhelming, so much so that it eclipses their talent. Their greatest potential is their potential for trouble.
One member of the bad boy secondary would be sitting in jail, and the other would be on the bench for mouthing off to the coach.
