Cool Re: Cowboys want Pacman Jones

I wouldn't want him on my team. NEVER. I don't care HOW good he is. He's a thug.

Well, since most teams have at least a thug or two...I rather my team have a thug with some talent and speed...I say "Yes" on Pacman.

NO! Nein, nada, not, forget about it.
The comparison between TO and Pacman ends at talent. TO is not nor never was he a thug.
Come on Goth, Pacman is just more trouble than he's worth.

Of course, I said that about TO too.
I just dont think so though.

PS from what I have been reading it sounds like Pacman is more interested in the Cowboys than the Cowboys in PacMan.

Re: Cowboys want Pacman Jones

Check this article out :

by Matt Mosley

Tennessee Titans exiled cornerback Pacman Jones stopped by an Atlanta radio station Thursday to discuss his return to the league. For the second time in the past month, he expressed a desire to play for the Dallas Cowboys.
"I would love to play for the Cowboys, America's team," he said on 680-AM.

Jones suggested that teams should be willing to give up their No. 1 draft picks in exchange for his services. The Titans organization immediately endorsed the idea. And honestly, why wouldn't any franchise want to invest in this young man?

During his in-studio appearance Thursday, Pacman talked about his desire to ride horses, his passion for bowling and his friendship with neighbor and country music legend George Jones.

You can just imagine George and Pacman sitting on the the Possum's front porch discussing the inspiration for "He Stopped Loving Her Today." This is a friendship that will stand the test of time.

I'm also told that Pacman was teased about his affinity for strip clubs.
"I've got a [stripper's] pole in my house now, but it is not really about that now," Jones said. "It is about me getting on the straight and narrow."
No, it's no longer about the stripper's pole in my house, although it's a pretty neat feature.
Pacman's agent quickly jumped in and said his client was only kidding about having the pole in his house.

I say reinstate this young man immediately.

T.O. just acts like a child but Jones pulls guns on people in strip clubs there's big difference.

Yep, it's the truth Goth, T.O. is a teacher's pet compared to Pacman.

I'm not sure whether to laugh at him, or with him. I wonder if he speaks to any real women???

That would be a hell of a thing to explain to a date!! Oh, I can see it now!

Come on, did you watch any of the games last year? You know the ones where Jones gained about 20 or so yards, as he hit the holes like a grandma.

He had some good runs, but he just didnt seem to be able to keep doing it. The rest were like you said, grandma runs.
I was a fan of Julius, still am in a way, but he just didnt deliver.

By the way Craftsman, welcome to GTG. I see you are a new member. Dare I hope that you are a Cowboy fan?

Re: Cowboys want Pacman Jones

Your right, he just never seemed to really want it bad enough. I also had high expectations but looking back on that draft, we could of had Steven Jackson. mmmmmmm oh yeah.

That was really back in the day...might as well throw Don Perkins into the mix...and Lilly and Pugh and the other 'boys from the day...

Intersting thing about Hayes...during the Ice Bowl against Green Bay, the Packers keyed on him, and how he ran...if he ran with his hands tucked into his belt, it was not a pass play...if he had them out in the open it was...I thought it interesting...
