| Victors get the final word Cowboys wide receiver Patrick Crayton might not have been talking after Sunday's playoff loss, but members of the New York Giants defense were more than willing to talk about the bold comments Crayton made leading up to the game. Giants defensive end Michael Strahan said he didn't even know who Crayton was until he heard about his comments during the week. "If anybody should talk it's not him," Strahan said. "But there was a lot of stuff said by him." Fellow defensive end Osi Umenyiora agreed with Strahan, saying the wide receiver didn't have any reason to be running his mouth the way he did. He said if anyone on the Cowboys was talking it should have been quarterback Tony Romo, running back Marion Barber or wide receiver Terrell Owens. Umenyiora was surprised Crayton was the boisterous voice coming out of Valley Ranch, but said the best way to respond was the way the Giants did Sunday night. Defensive end Justin Tuck said it doesn't matter how many words players on either team say leading up to the game. The only result that matters is what happens on the field. "You've got to come out here and play the football game," Tuck said. "Words have never won a football game." But perhaps the defining and saltiest quote was the final one from Strahan at his press conference. "We hope T.O. has his popcorn ready; maybe him and Crayton can sit in his home theater and watch us next week," he said. DallasCowboys.com - News
