| Bitter end too much for Glenn One by one, the Cowboys players slowly filed out of the Texas Stadium locker room after Sunday's shocking loss to the Giants. Terry Glenn was the last to leave, sitting at his locker quietly for several minutes. The Cowboys' veteran receiver worked tirelessly all season to return from a right knee injury in time for the playoffs, opting to forego season-ending microfracture surgery and instead have his damaged cartilage removed. It was a short-term solution, but one that gave him a chance to return this year. There's a chance he'll need the microfracture surgery this off-season. Glenn accomplished his individual goal: He made his season debut in the Dec. 30 finale and played in the divisional-round loss to New York, catching two passes for 30 yards. But Glenn believed the Cowboys had a legitimate chance to accomplish something special as a team. That's why he wanted to return in time for the postseason, why he felt so disappointed after the Giants ended their season and why he guessed he'd have trouble sleeping Sunday night. Finally, he made the short walk to his car outside the stadium, deep in thought. DallasCowboys.com - News
