I suspect she'll be headed to greener (bay) pastures after todays showing.

I don't think you can totally blame Romo for the loss. They had no run game in the second half and his receivers did drop some balls not to mention all the false starts on his OL.

the sacks and the int were all on him ..... as i said .. i call him overrated because it seems he is put on the same level as Brady and today he showed he obviously isnt there

the Cowboys had todays game won with a great QB .... Manning (Peyton) or Brady would have won that game imo

those sacks late in the game must have totaled to cost Dallas a good 35+ yards

You're putting way too much on Romo. You could say that about any team if they had Peyton or Brady.

How do you explain all the false starts, dropped passes and almost no run game?

I agree. For the most part it is never just one player that loses a game. One can contribute and sometimes even to a large degree but so very seldom does just the one player control the game.

Giants out played them in the second half...the kid will grow into the job...but even Brady and the Pats barely made it past the Giants this year.

Re: Tony Romo Is An Overrated Choke Artist

Sorry simon, he's still great. Remember this is only his first year as a starter. doesnt have much playing experience behind him yet compared to Manning or Brady. Some of the sacks are on him because he holds the darn ball too long trying to make plays when he should just throw it away if he is out of the pocket. Some are because his O-line just didnt do that well today. Some are just because the Giants did a good job putting on the pressure which they knew they HAD to do. He made some bad passes because of that pressure. Crayton dropped some but he is a young player too. Not that that is any excuse after the way Green Bay's young receivers played.
Yeah, I admit. He choked a bit but he's not overrated. Yet.

Re: Tony Romo Is An Overrated Choke Artist

At this point in the season all of the inadequacies of all players on opposing teams are well known. That is why the Pat's are not clobbering anyone in the second half. When you know the weakness of the QB what are you going to do ?? Attack it of course.

That's OK, it's easy to throw stones when your team has been the team of the decade, but it won't last, nothing in sports does. I'll have your plate of crow when it does!

Re: Tony Romo Is An Overrated Choke Artist

Romo will be just fine. First, Dallas needs to get a center that can snap out of the shotgun without causing false start penalties. Romo's young and still learning. Everyone wanted to call Eli a bust a few years ago, and look where he's at now. Sometimes it just takes time for these kids to grow into the job, and Romo is definitely further along than a lot of people would be at this point as a starter.

Ain't that the truth...and yeah, even the great Staubach drove Landry crazy his first few years...and Aikman was what? 1-15 at first as a starter? The kid will come around.
