| Ellis, Ware, Sack totals swell Cowboys outside linebackers DeMarcus Ware and Greg Ellis contributed to the defense's five-sack total Saturday night - and each set career highs in the process. Ware's two sacks increased his season total to 13, one short of Jim Jeffcoat's single-season high of 14 set in 1986 (once sacks became an official NFL statistic). Ellis' one sack against Carolina gives him a career-high 12½ this season, both players becoming the first to surpass Tony Tolbert's 12 of 1996. DallasCowboys.com - News
