| Nothing could be finer This is so delicious, maybe the real pecan pie of this National Football League season. Cowboys vs. Packers, conjuring up visions of Ice Bowls and long-ago NFL title games. Landry and Lombardi. Meredith and Starr. Hayes and Dowler. Pugh and Kramer. Aikman and Favre. That Red Ball Thanksgiving. Boniol's seven field goals. That frigid whuppin' at Lambeau. It's 10-1 vs. 10-1, the Cowboys never before this season 10-1, and the Packers, well, might as well have been before since the last time they were as good this late in a season was 1929, when Curly Lambeau's team was 10-0-1 after a scoreless tie with the Frankford Yellowjackets before 8,500 people in the northeastern part of Philadelphia. Not since 1990, and the only time since the 1970 merger, have two NFL teams with identically phenomenal records collided. The game will be televised Thursday night from Texas Stadium by NFL Network, and that brings into the spotlight the NFL-owned network vs. Time Warner Cable and other cable providers, both sides stubbornly battling over availability of the channel for a majority of the country's homes with televisions. There is Terrell Owens vs. the renowned Green Bay corners, Al Harris and Charles Woodson, the Cowboys receiver leading the NFL with 1,093 receiving yards and second with 13 touchdowns receptions, going up against these corners known for their man-to-man coverage skills and ability to bump-and-run off the line of scrimmage. But how much fun will this be? DallasCowboys.com - News
