| Jones, Barber run Jets into ground The Jones Brothers have never made football a sibling rivalry. For the second time in four years, they had no choice. Julius Jones outdueled Thomas Jones on two fronts this Thanksgiving: He won the rushing battle, 64 yards to 40, and his Cowboys improved to 10-1 with a convincing 34-3 victory over the New York Jets, here Thursday at Texas Stadium. Both were the primary runners three Thanksgivings ago when Thomas played in Chicago. This time, Julius had a little help. Marion Barber's game-high 103 yards Thursday marked the first time a Cowboys back has reached the century mark since Sept. 23 against the Bears. Barber, Jones and quarterback Tony Romo combined for 174 yards - the Cowboys' highest rushing total since Week 2 at Miami (186 yards) - and the first time the Cowboys have rushed for more than 100 yards in three games. Jones and Barber combined for 167 yards. DallasCowboys.com - News
