| Re: Cowboys vs. Jets Cowboys crushed the Jets, 34-3. Offense pretty quiet today, score should have been higher. Too many missed opportunities but defense pressured Clemens all day. Romo was 21/28, 195 yards, 2 TD and 1 interception. He tied Danny White's franchise record for most td's in a single season. (29 in 1983) Owens had only 1 td, a 22 yarder that extended his streak of consecutive games with a td to 6 Terence Newman made a nice interception and ran in untouched for a 50 yd. td. Jets had only 1 field goal and reached Cowboy territory just twice. Next week looks to be a really great game against the Packers who won today and and are also 10-1. I am told that that game will also be broadcast in Wisconsin on the Green Bay and Milwaukee channels. Lot of happy Packer fans here now. Go Cowboys!

the Cowboys should be ashamed .... isnt it enough that the poor Jets will be embarrassed by the Pats twice this season ? what a classless franchise they have in Dallas |

so, while i have no problem with it, this was indeed running up the score .... leading by 31 points when you take out your starter just before the end of the game is exactly the type of thing the Pats have been bashed all season for ......... let's see if anyone has the fortitude to hold the Cowboys to the same standard ... i doubt anyone will seems many people have been saying the Pats have been flipping off the rest of the league by running it up ........... with this game i think the Cowboys are trying to say they are right up there with the Pats .... and i say good for them .. and no sarcasm at all

And the Pats were flipping off the league. This hurts to say but the Cowboys offense isnt the quite the same as the Pats, yet. If I were a Pats fan (thank goodness I am not) I would be getting more than a little worried. They are taking some awful chances with their starters. And I thought the general consensus was that there isnt any running up the score in pro football. So your team can do whatever they want, but I still would be worried if I were you. Injury bug can hit anywhere, anytime. |

| Re: Cowboys vs. Jets Have we beaten this thing to death enough yet?? YAWN. Let it go. I don't think anyone has been doing much talking about it lately, so let's just let the running up the score deal die a quiet death. When I was watching the game I told myself you would bring it up again. Thanks for not letting me down! |
