| Love, hate connection for Owens, Philly Terrell Owens spent almost every waking moment last fall thinking about his return to Philadelphia. He was preparing to have a big game and deal with the fans' disdain toward him. To say Owens was the most hated man in the City of Brotherly Love is an understatement. When the game, a 38-24 Cowboys loss was over, Owens stormed off the field after a lackluster outing, yelling, "Why am I here?" Tonight, when the Cowboys visit the Eagles, he returns a different man. The Eagles are not on his mind every moment of the day, but the game is still important to him. Owens said over the last several months he's learned to forgive and forget. He's reconciled with his biggest nemesis, Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb. The two met by accident at a party during the Super Bowl in February, and Owens apologized for how he handled things. Owens was prepared for a rowdy welcome from the fans when the Cowboys arrived at their downtown Philadelphia hotel Saturday night. Even if they boo him in the street or in the stadium, he forgives them. "They still love me," he said. "I don't care what they say, those boos aren't really boos. There's a lot of love in those boos. If I got traded to the Eagles right now, they would love me." "He wants to win," cornerback Terence Newman said of Owens. "He might want to show them up and we might want to show them up for him. When the day ends, it's all about winning the game, and that's what's most important."
