| Get it together Boys! Come Together is a Beatles song that describes what the Dallas Cowboys need to do to be an elite team in the NFL. One week the defense plays well, one week it’s the offense, other weeks it’s the special teams that puts the game in the “W” column. ![]() Imagine what would happen if the offense, defense and special teams played to their full potential every week. The Dallas Cowboys are working their way to the status of an elite team. They sit atop the NFC seven games into the season. A record of 6-1 is exciting. While, I don’t want to call the Cowboys the “Cardiac Cowboys” or “Comeback Kids” they sure do keep their fans engaged. Chris Canty blocked an attempted field goal; Patrick Watkins picked it up and ran 68 yards for a touchdown. You can’t blink or you might miss a once in-a- blue-moon play. Penalty Yards Watch: Penalty yards improved this week. The Cowboys were penalized four times for a total of 22 yards. Think like an elite team. Say to yourselves ten times in a row every morning, “I belong in the Super Bowl. I am an elite player playing for an elite team”. Seahawks Huddle - Home of the 12th Man :: Home
