| Cowboys vs. Vikings On paper, Dallas should win this game. But after their last two performances, there are some strong doubts for some about who the Dallas Cowboys really are. They did win in Buffalo, but come on. The score shouldnt have been that close. And the Pats went over them like a steamroller. There will be a couple of really physical running backs in this game. Adrian Peterson for the Vikings and Marion Barber for the Cowboys. Both teams have good run defenses. Both teams leave something to be desired for pass defense. But the Cowboys still have one of the top passing offenses in the league. Question is, are they going to show up for this one????

| Re: Cowboys vs. Vikings Statistically Dallas cannot lose this game. They don't need to step up anything they just need to play to the ability that they already have. A methodical game will give them a "W". |

Not this game. Besides, Jackson doesnt have the weapons Romo does. Jackson is still pretty young and the Dallas D will make him nervous. |

| Re: Cowboys vs. Vikings The Boys won 24-14, but it wasnt real impressive to me. Too many blown opportunities. According to the game statistics, Dallas should have beat the Vikings by a lot more. They dominated the game but nearly gave it away. They did some good things. They finally got a 1st quarter td. Pat Watkins later returned a blocked field goal swatted down by Chris Canty for a TD, the first time Dallas has done that since 1983. Tony didnt have any interceptions. Dallas is the first team to get more than 100 rushing yards against the Vikings this year. Blown opportunities: Patrick Crayton, he of the big mouth this past week, fumbled and the Vikings got a td off it. Marion Barber got a 1st down and then lost it by cutting back in an attempt to get more yards. Tony fumbled, and 311 lb. defensive tackle Kevin Williams returned it for a td. which was called back on a penalty against the Vikings. If you want to see something funny, you should have seen big old Kevin lumbering down the field and no one from Dallas could catch him. I bet he never does that again though. Nick Folk shanked a field goal the first time this year. There were a couple of scary minutes when Tony hurt his hamstring. I saw the rest of the season flashing before my eyes. He played the whole game but he was hampered a bit by it. Once again the Cowboys' biggest enemy was themselves. It always seems to me that either the defense plays well or the offense does. They never seem to show up at the same game at the same time. Cowboy fans, we got another win. Guess thats all that counts. |
