Cowboys cornerback Terence Newman is used to being the chaser. Not the other way around. So he found himself in a rather unfamiliar situation Monday night in Buffalo after coming up with a critical fourth-quarter interception and seeing nothing but about 90 yards of field in front of him. But instead of taking it all the way back, Newman simply didn't have enough gas in his tank
"I'm trying to push myself into better shape," Newman said Thursday. "I'm kind of fat right now."
While Newman wouldn't give one national reporter the satisfaction of saying he was scared or concerned about the Patriots' high-octane passing game, he admits this undoubtedly will be a tough challenge.
