T.O. has one year anniversary

What a difference a year makes! Yesterday was the one year anniversary of Terrell Owens' accidental overdose of painkillers and supplements. Today he is happy and relaxed and having fun.
A lot of his happy feelings have to do with Cowboys success and the change in coaches. He went from one who wouldnt use his name and wouldnt involve him heavily in the offense, to Phillips and Garrett who make it a point to involve him in the offense as often as possible.
He says the events of September 26-27 impacted his life.
In order to move on, he said he had to forgive. He made amends with trainer Buddy Primm who he fired for elaborating too much to the media. He apologized to Eagle quarterback Donovan McNabb, and he is back on friendly terms with ex-publicist Kim Etheredge.

I still don't care for him. He's always been a trouble-maker, especially when he doesn't get his way. Look at the article, he's happy now cause there's a coach using him as much as he thinks he should be used. That's always been his problem.

See, winning is never a problem...so if they are using him, and they are winning and he is happy...what would you say is the problem?...

Cool Re: T.O. has one year anniversary

It's just a matter of time before TO has some sort of meltdown. You know that saying about a Leopard and his spots.

And I still say TO has changed for the better. He is growing up a little at a time. Leopards dont change their spots: people can and do change sometimes.
He wasnt happy about not getting the ball because he knew he could make plays. He's all about winning.
He makes like he has this big ego but I still think that basically he is unsure of himself except on the football field.
I do have to admit some of his antics on the sidelines and off the field werent very pretty.

Well Bette, you could be very right.... me though, I'm just waitin. I hope your right, but given his past, I expect it to happen again... most likely as soon as he doesn't get enough looks in a game. JMO
