Re: Dominant Dallas tops the NFC

I know power rankings are only opinion...but how could the Cowboys be ahead of the Colts?

Green Bay 5th.......wow. There's got to be a better team somewhere.

I dont know. Dont burst my bubble.
Actually they noted that teams above Indy were more impressive last week but that was subject to change.
They also noted that though Dallas played in the weaker division, they could give any of the elite in the AFC a run for their money. Any weaknesses in the roster were covered by a terrific offense and great coaching.

You know, that actually looks about right to me. The Pats look unbeatable, the Steelers have be darn impressive, the Cowboys are clearly the class of the NFC right now, the Colts are talking care of business and Favre and the Packers are shockingly looking like real contenders. I can't see where you bump Green Bay off this list - I mean, who replaces them, if you do?

I'd have it...

Pats
Colts
Steelers
Cowboys
Packers (just looked at the #s, they do belong here...good defense)
Buccaneers
Seahawks
Jags
Texans

remember they said teams that looked impressive, and yes you would have to include Green Bay on this list. Just think of how they played last year and how they are playing now. I still am not going to start thinking return of the glory days just yet though.
As for the Cowboys, they defeated the elite defense of the league. The Bears' D. has been tough for a long time. I'm not thinking glory days for them just yet either.

I doubt Dallas has hit stride yet, and they took down the Bears...I think they are right below the Patriots and the Colts right now.
