| Re: Dallas defense I didn't think the fantasy ranking was right at 18th .. I still don't. but now I think it's closer to 25th. the only way they were able to stop Eli was to get him off the field. and Ward showed them how bad their run defense was when it counted.

Fantasy is a weird thing...you get a defense that gambles and gets turnover and they might be ranked higher than a shutdown D. |

| Re: Dallas defense Wait here a minute guys. Its not the loss of Greg Ellis that's throwing the wrench in the works so much as it is the loss of Newman. He's the piece that's missing that keeps the puzzle together. Reeves simply is not Newman. He cant play man to man. That's what screws up Phillips' "shutdown defense" With Newman back there, Williams is free to get closer to the line of scrimmage. That's his strength, that's what he does best. That's why he was so upset about the loss of Glenn. But I dont think Glenn would have done any better than Reeves. Since Reeves cant play man to man, what you saw was the Cowboys attempting to patch up the hole. (not very well) Spencer is doing a nice job for Ellis.
