Delicate Dilemna for Cowboys' Wilson

A sensitive subject is male impotence especially in big time sports.
That's why QB coach Wade Wilson says he was talking in code-saying he was trying to improve his "quality of life"-when he previously explained his use of banned substances to treat complications from his diabetes.
Wilson got the idea to try the alternative treatment after seeing a 60 Minutes segment last year about an anti-aging clinic.
He experimentes with the substances but it affected his blood sugar levels.
His diabetes complications have become more serious.

Come on now Simon. While it may be illegal his intended use was most certainly not for enhancing his on field performance. Desperate people take desperate measures. Have you ever heard of people with terminal diseases doing what many consider snake oil treatments ??? You know I have little to zero faith in the media and this is just another example of it. I'm not advocating letting him off the hook but lets actually investigate this and see if any of what he has to say is false.

Yeah, I'm not really medically inclined, but apparently those "male enhancement" pills didn't get the job done. Not really sure why, but I'm guessing different things work for different people - kind of like the reason they make 87 different types of cold medicine. Some brands and some blends must work better for different people and under different circumstances. Still, if this was the case, couldn't Wilson have gotten a legitimate perscription for this stuff instead of going to an internet pharmacy?

Cool Re: Delicate Dilemna for Cowboys' Wilson

Actually what Wilson says sounds reasonable to me. But I guess the NFL is trying to send a message. So just take your suspension and move on.

Re: Delicate Dilemna for Cowboys' Wilson

Apparently the legal drugs raised his blood sugars, and being diabetic that is of course the last thing he wants.

Suspect of what? That he has diabetes? That he used it for the reason he said he did? That the other drugs raised his blood sugars? What are you suspicious of?
You have been doing this way too long simon. Your mind is just too suspicious.

The amount of drugs he took was what you would expect one person to use, no more.
