Giants running back Brandon Jacobs said the Giants is the team to beat this year and that not only do the Giants dislike the Cowboys, but that his team would promptly come down to Dallas and "whip their (butts)".
After that trickled down to the Cowboys locker room, Jacobs backpedaled and told New York Daily News "I just think we'll go play well....."
No big comeback spouted out of Valley Ranch.
Nose tackle Jason Ferguson said the Cowboys will do their talking on the field. Linebacker Bobby Carpenter said we'll see.
