| Not a rookie kicker, again! Get out the rolaids. Sure, we are worried about the cornerback position, linebacker position, a few back-up positions, and maybe, even for a few, quarterback. But kicker? That's going to be a rookie out there on a nationally televised opener against division rival, the Giants. If you go back to 1990, the second year Jerry Jones owned the team, the Cowboys have relied on a rookie kicker 6 times in 17 years. This will be the 7th. Only in 2 years did the Cowboys not have to rely on a kicker they brought up from scratch. Last year with Vanderjagt and in the start of 2005 with Cortez. We all know neither of them turned out so great. "The first kick is going to be a big one. Just want to get it done and over with," Folk admits. Then he will go about his business like regular Folk.
