| Bill Parcells still hurts Still Hurts Bill Parcells has retired to his beloved East Coast since February, when he decided to end his four-year tenure as Cowboys head coach. But in an exclusive interview with KTVT-TV's Babe Laufenberg in Saratoga, N.Y., Parcells admitted the Cowboys' heart-breaking wild-card loss to Seattle still weighs on him some eight months later. "Have I thought about it quite a bit? Yeah, I have," Parcells told Laufenberg. "But I'll get over it." Parcells posted a 34-32 record in Dallas from 2003-06, including two wild-card losses. He's proud to know he left the franchise in much better shape talent-wise than before he arrived in 2003. But his previous reclamation projects in New York and New England featured deep playoff runs. But his Cowboys never got past the first round and didn't post a winning record in December. He said the final weeks of last season were particularly frustrating, especially the 39-31 loss to lowly Detroit on New Year's Eve. "You're hired to win games, period," Parcells said. "Once you've won there's not pretty much anything that satisfies you again. And I think that was really the exasperation that I was starting to get, was knowing we should be a little bit better than we were and just being honest with yourself and say hey, maybe you just couldn't do what you used to do."
