IRVING, Texas --Terrell Owens was about 20 minutes late getting on the field for the morning practice and was on the field but not in pads for the afternoon session. In the morning, he stretched on the side with a team trainer and was taking part in drills a few minutes later.

When asked about his tardiness in the morning, Owens said, "That's cool. (Phillips) already addressed it, so there's no need for me to address it."

"We had a player late for practice, and it's been handled," Phillips said, without mentioning Owens' name or elaborating, when meeting with reporters during a break between practices.

"He and Wade worked that out, and that's good," Jones said. "And both were very satisfied with how it worked out."

well Bette ..... its just another chapter in the TO saga

normally this may not be news, but its just another example of TO seeming to live by his own rules

all i can say is, he better put up the #'s during the season or things like this will come back to haunt him ....... his teammates and the fans will not be so quick to forgive and forget if he doesnt do it

Well, simon, another episode it may be. But you forgot the rest of the story.
After he was late, he went up against Champ Bailey and Dre' Bly.
"I love it. He's one of the best in the game and you dont get to see that every day," Bailey said Thursday. "Why not take advantage of that opportunity to go against the best?" (italics are mine)

As noted in the thread, TO causes a stir, when he practices or plays, he plays hard.
And the words above by Bailey is strong praise indeed coming from the best there is at his position of cornerback.

Moss has a worse attitude...puts up worse numbers...and you welcomed him with open arms... ...sad really.

TO has NEVER played on a team as bad as Moss did ...... and i always thought Moss was the better talent

better talent...perhaps...but I take TO in a tough game over Moss any day of the week and twice on Sunday. TO is a warrior compared to Moss.

Yeesh, simon. You twisted it up again. We arent talking about defensive backs. Has nothing to do with it. TO will put up the numbers. You better hope Moss does half as good.

yes it is, they are both Hall of Famer's

Sanders had more talent ..... Lott tried harder and was tougher ........ a lot like Moss and TO

the biggest difference i see is, Moss has done things in games with talent that i have never seen before (like flipping himself the ball to make a catch) TO just has never shown me such talent ........ therefore, i give the nod to Moss

they are both head-cases no doubt

At this point in time, yes , Moss has the better quarterback. And you are right when you say Moss can do things no other receiver can----when he wants to.
