Terrell Owens is going through drills with the rest of the receivers, catching passes and all. So far, no drops, and his right ring finger is still attached.

"Terrell is going to practice and catch the ball," Wade Phillips said with a wry smile to open his press conference. "And catch the ball very well, as a matter of fact."

T.O. didn't have a drop during the morning practice. He caught all four passes thrown to him during 7-on-7 and 11-on-11 drills, including a deep ball from Tony Romo that T.O. beat Terence Newman for a touchdown.

Phillips said T.O. caught passes in Miami earlier this week -- for the first time since his operation on his right ring finger. Nevertheless, Jerry said he was surprised to see T.O. in team drills today.

"I'm surprised, but I can understand why he got excited to get out there," Jerry said. "He got caught up in the enthusiasm of being with the team."
