Hey Cowboy fans, any chance that Dallas tries to sign Mike Vanderjagt and would you even want him?

I don't know if Parcells would want him. He loves guys like Vinatierri and Matt Barr who make 'Big" kicks. All Vanerjagt has shown is that he can make all the kicks in October but come January - his right leg numbs up on him.

It's now official - Vandejagt is the new Colt Kicker. I swear - my earlier post was just trying to kick up some discussion. I had no prior knowledge that this would happen. Maybe I should go out and play the lottery today

Okay Dallas fans what do you think? Personally, I think its a major upgrade over anybody the Cowboys have had. The Boys will worry about the "big" kicks when and if they get there. But Vanderjagt is a major step in actually "getting there".

Yeah, Pundit, looks like you guessed this one alright! The Fort Worth Star-Telegram is reporting that Dallas has signed Vanderjagt to a three-year deal. No financial terms were disclosed, but it most likely isn't as big as the five-year contract, $7.5 million that his ex-team the Colts signed Adam Vinatieri to on Wednesday.
