T.O. is a Cowboy

Man.... A few days ago this board was lit up with up to the minute free agency moves.
It's hard to believe that you guys are all so interested in Adam Archuleta that you forgot about everyone's fav. mixer upper.
You know, the Star desacrater, the sharpie user, the pom pom dancer, and the waiter serving up TD's.
I'm probably at the wrong end of the stick again on this one, but it seems to me that anyone who is fortunate enought to get T.O. on their team would be making a good move if they did get him.
I'll be honest, I really don't care about any of the players on my team, I only care about my team winning. These guys are just football players to me, not people. I know it's a buisness, I know they will leave for more money, and I know they all have friends that play for teams I hate.
The only reason I care about Carson Palmer's knee, is because I want him to return becasue I know he gives the Bengals the best chance to win.
If I were a Cowboy fan, I would think no differently. Before T.O. became a Cowboy, the average Cowboy fan probably saw T.O. in the same way I viewed.... let's say Ray Lewis. Now I still hate Ray Lewis, and call him a murdering thug, but man if the Bengals could get that guy they would be stupid not too.
T.O. gives the Cowboys a better chance to win, and would likely give any team he played for a better chance to win. For this reason alone, I think it is a good move.

Terrell Owens. Yeah, you can win a lot of battles with a guy like T.O. but you always lose the War. He does a number on the troops.

Hey Who Dey, I posted about T.O. two days ago when the story first hit the newslines. Just thought I'd comment.

You are correct sir. Thing is, I've never been on the Cowboy's post before. I actually posted this on the generic NFL board. I was then sent a message telling me my post had been moved to the Cowboy's board.
I then went to the Cowboy's board to see if there were any comments and noticed that someone already had a T.O. thread going.
So I apologize.

Re: TO is a Cowboy

Not a problem, Who Dey

Someday soon I'll be putting together a few threads about ways to easily use the forums. The software we use has a ton of options that make it really easy to navigate.

Try the Search Function near the top of every page to find stuff quickly.

My favorite search is right next to that under "Quick Links" where you can see a list of all posts made in the last 24 hours to catch up on what's new here.

Back to our buddy TO...

No doubt about it, Terrell Owens is an awesome receiver when he's playing well. I just don't see it working out for him... anywhere. Terrell Owens as a Dallas Cowboy might make for more SportsCenter highlights but I'll bet it makes for more of the usual T.O. news headlines.

I hope it all works out because I'd like to see the Cowboys win some games. I just don't think T.O. is gonna be worth the $10million they paid.

I'm with ya Pundit...can't buy that time of PR...or touchdowns for that matter...on second thought, I guess if you are Jerry Jones, you really can buy it...
