I quit

After that dismal performance by Tony NoMo ( ...as in I don't want to hear "no-mo" about his butt), I am defecting from the Dallas Cowboys. Romo started believing his own press. Parcells is senile. And the TO cancer is spreading through this team.

I have no choice but to now throw my support to the superior team in the NFC. The team that swept us this year. And the team that I now admit is the "Gold Standard" of our division: The Philadelphia Eagles!!

Go Eagles !!!!!!

Re: I quit

If you say you're switching allegiances, then I don't believe you were ever truly a Cowboys fan in the first place.

But boy was the rise and fall of Romo sudden or what? lol

Ditto...you sir (speaking of Defector) are a bird of green feathers...I doubt you ever followed the Boys with the star.

Re: I quit

You guys need to ease up on Defector.............He is just the typical Dallas Fan.............A great Front runner when things are going well, but ready to quit when things get tough. Again.........just a typical Dallas Fan, nothing new.

Cool Re: I quit

I don't know whether Defector is actually a Dallas fan but let's take his comments on merit.

Quote:
Romo started believing his own press
Could be. But it had nothing to do with the loss. He just didn't execute a simple hold.

Quote:
Parcells is senile
Not even close. He could coach for me any day of the week.

As much as I hate using that term when it comes to athletes, the point is well taken. I would get rid of Owens. He dropped a ton of balls this year and is just not worth the headache. Besides Patrick Crayton is pretty good and ready to step in.

if the rest of the Boys played with has much gumption as Owens they would have advanced...I'd get rid of a different set of players...

Re: I quit

Romo was doing well until he started dating country music's lovely, leggy Carrie Underwood. Many's a man who has been ruined by a hot woman...perhaps Tony Romo is yet another.

I've followed Dallas since the 80's. Ive been with them through the good times and bad times. I hate T.O. and thought he should have never been picked up. I personally do not like Jerry Jones. I think Romo just had one bad moment so let it go. I hang with them no matter what.

All I'm saying is that Owens drops a ton of balls for a guy that causes so much trouble. If he would not be such a pain in the butt and act like a brat on the sideline, I'd keep him.

Who would you get rid of, Gotham?

The Cowboys HAVE to get a defensive end who can rush the passer. NO sacks again on Saturday night.

You know I like Terrance Newman and Roy Williams...but thy ain't playing worth crap in that secondary...Williams is an undersized Linebacker not a a great Safety like Cliff Harris or Charlie Waters...I want an upgrade.

Cool Re: I quit

Williams signed a big extension in the off season, so he isn't going anywhere. They definitely need a free safety though.

True true true. I haven't had too much to cheer about as a Reds fan lately, but I stick with them. I hope to be rewarded soon.
