The Cowboys cut DT La'Roi Glover yesterday. Glover was a 10-year vet who signed with Dallas in 2002 and made the Pro Bowl last season. Meanwhile, LB Dat Nguyen, as expected, retired due to a neck injury. What impact does this have on the quality of the Dallas D?

You mean aside from not having a LB with a cool name?...Nguyen was the soul of the defense...compact little over achiever ...maybe best little compact over achiever this side of Zach Thomas...Nguyen...we love you babe...sorry we didn't win one for you...Roy Williams time to step it up a notch or two...actually he is a LB pretending to be a safety...so who knows...

I hear ya, Gotham. Except when I think of Nguyen, I don't think of Thomas. I think of Sam Mills. All three are/were basically in the same mold - undersized, but full of heart and ready to knock your head off the moment you underestimated them.

I think that was a bad mustake on there part caus they need glover as a line man to get them through the next season and Nguyen retiering cause T.O. is on the team now i wouldnt retire i would just get on a different taem and kick the holy livin crap right out of him. thats how i see it. and dallas's D will suck horrebly.Yea and ROY is now there Deffense . but i know there is no i in TEAM but there is a M and a E for ME in Roys case

Go easy on TO there little dude...he hasn't done anything wrong for the Cowboys yet...give him a look see...he might come around and do some good...
