| Dallas Drafting a Tackle?
Who should the Dallas Cowboys pick No. 1 in this April's Draft?
Yahoo! Sports writer Charles Robinson seems to think it should be a tackle, namely Auburn's Marcus McNeill. "Safety is a need, but the Cowboys may be able to address that spot later in the draft," Robinson wrote in his Feb. 22 mock draft article. "Tackle is a far more pressing need, and there's no guarantee it can be addressed in free agency... McNeill is big [6-8, 332] and has good feet. Scouts thought he had flashes of brilliance at the Senior Bowl – but also looked lazy at times."
Not sure McNeill is the right pick for Dallas. Parcells doesn't seem to have much affinity for lazy offensive linemen. Is this the pick you would make, Cowboy fans? |
