NY Giants @ Cowboys - Monday Night Football

Next Monday night, the NFC East takes the forefront in the nation as the New York Giants travel to Dallas to take on the Cowboys. Both teams are in second place (Giants have the better division record). This is a HUGE game as with the division races, you've got to win them to ensure a chance at the playoffs later in the year.

The Giants have had back-to-back great performances against Washington and Atlanta. Can they handle the Cowboys offense? Pass rush on Drew Bledsoe will be a key.

The Cowboys dominated Houston and Terrell Owens has historically done well against the Giants. But can he get the ball from Bledsoe?

This should be a great game.

I agree if the Giants DE's can get to Bledsoe look out for the GIants in this game....Owens is crying about not getting the ball in the First Half so hopefully Bledsoe doesnt force anything because of TO. Look for Eli to have a big game, he will probably pick on Anthony Henry when he can. If Tiki gets it going like always the Cowboys could have a long night

vs

I think the game could turn into an air show if the Cowboy's # 1 run defense can stop Tiki and Brandon Jacob's.Would like to see the Dallas running back's be able to crank out some yd's against the G-MEN it would help to keep pressure off of our q.b.

Bottom line is our o-line must be able block Osi Umenyiora,Strahan and the Giant defense to have any success and win the game.Should be a barn burner Monday nite.

I think Tiki will be really pumped up for this game but the Cowboys will win despite a 100 yard game by Tiki!

My pick:
Cowboys 28
Giants 24

Re: NY Giants @ Cowboys - Monday Night Football

Welcome to GoTeamsGo kojaz and bulldog, and thanks for joining us. Interesting that both of you -- and almost everyone, for that matter -- seem to be picking the Cowboys in this one. Is it the home field advantage? Personally, I'm not sold on everything being A-OK in Cowboy land just because of one good game. Bledsoe reverts to form, T.O. starts whining about not getting the ball enough and NY wins the game, 28-17.

Re: NY Giants @ Cowboys - Monday Night Football

With all of this close scores here, I am going to go out on a limb and say:

Cowboys 21+ TO 12 =33 to the Giants 9

Re: NY Giants @ Cowboys - Monday Night Football

this could be the best game of the season so far

i think the difference will be 2 things

the Dallas backs will have to do some great blocking to keep Bledsoe alive, there is no way he will outrun Strahan

the Dallas receivers will have to have great early seperation and runs after the catch........Bledsoe wont have much time before he has to get rid of the ball........i think he has the experience to make quick reads, if the receivers can get the seperation it will be a big game for them

if this pass 1st plan of attack works it will open up the running lanes for Jones and Barber as the linebackers will have to help covering TO, Glann and Whitten

i think over-all Dallas is still a better team then the Giants

Dallas 27

NY 17

Re: NY Giants @ Cowboys - Monday Night Football

I think people are high on the Cowboys because of their performance last week. And what I have to say about that...they beat the Texans.

That is all

Re: NY Giants @ Cowboys - Monday Night Football

I also believe it'll be a great Monday night game, because Bledsoe and T.O will have great chemisty again. The Cowboys will come out on top.

Cowboys - 20

Giants - 10

With the Eagles loss today, the MNF game tomorrow evening will be for sole possession of first place.
