| Media and fans take a deep breath Yes, Tony Romo cost Dallas the game with his three interceptions, which were all on him. He is the main reason that the Cowboys are now 1-1, instead of 2-0. Why isn't anyone mentioning that Dallas, despite four turnovers, was barely beaten by a team that almost "everyone" agrees is one of the top three teams in the NFL? If I were a Giants fan, I would be ecstatic about the win, but I wouldn't want to play the Cowboys again. What really are the chances that Romo throws three interceptions in a game, again? He has thrown three interceptions four times in 41 starts. But I will say that his team had a chance to win all of those games, including that magical Monday night in Buffalo, when he drove them for the winning field goal—despite five interceptions. And please, stop with the "Romo loses all the big games" craziness. If the regular season game that he just lost is a "big" game, then I guess the 4-1 regular season record against the Giants indicates that he has at least won four big games. He had a bad game. Relax. Take a deep breath. Step back from the ledge. Dallas Cowboys: Media and Fans Should Take a Deep Breath | Bleacher Report It was kind of scary looking down from that ledge.

| Re: Media and fans take a deep breath Here's an interesting view on Romo from Tony Dorsett Dorsett joined Fox Sports Radio Tuesday and questioned the anointment of Romo as an NFL superstar. “Well, for one thing, I don’t know why on God’s earth Tony Romo has been anointed a superstar in the National Football League. Tony is very young in his career. Not to say you can’t be young in your career and be a superstar because you’ve got one up there in Minnesota in Adrian Peterson. But the thing is this: you have a guy who hasn’t done much and quarterbacks in the National Football League, most of them go through this growing curve. He hasn’t gone through that growing curve, but he was anointed this great player all of a sudden. Now he’s having to live up to that. And obviously Tony has some deficiencies. “But, he’s a good player who’s still learning how to play in the National Football League and I think the media has given him too much credit for doing nothing. He hasn’t done anything really in the National Football League to deserve all the recognition and visibility that he’s gotten so far.”

But Dorsett says he is young and thus can still get to that growing curve. Only time will tell. No, I cant call him a superstar right now. But this doesnt address where you said :"So the regular season games are "big games"and he does lose the majority of the big ones." Thats not true. |

But he has a 94.4 qb rating. He isnt as bad as you make him out to be, but he isnt quite as good as some of the media like to make him out to be. Dorsett said he's a young quarterback but he is 29. I dont think we will see any big improvement in Tony Romo. He will continue to be a good quarterback, but nothing more.
