Season tickets as low as $59 a game

For the price of a tank of gas, Cowboy fans can buy tickets for one of the cheapest seats in the stadium. Fifty thousand nonclub season tickets will now go for $59-129 a game for season tickets.
The $59 ticket seats are more than 200 feet above the field.
This is Jerry Jones' attempt to adjust to the economy.

From the sound of it, you're paying $59 for the right to say you were at the game, cause you're sure not gonna see much football.

Yeah, that was my thought. And it just averages out to 59 per game. You have to buy a season ticket. I think it includes a couple of preseason games too.

It's funny, Bette. Ticket prices are so out of control these days. Some 10 years ago, I was able to buy two fairly nice tickets to a Browns game for $75 total. It's a shame, really, how this turned into big business and became all but unaccessable for the average family.

True, you either gotta be really rich, or save up for a looong time.

I havent been a football fan too many years and one of my wishes has been to go to a pro game. At these prices today, its not gonna happen. Much less a Cowboy game.
So Jerry Jones is doing the average Joe a big favor and stick him up in the clouds for only a measly $59 a game. Really generous on his part.

Yeah, I was lucky enough to get to a few before the prices went through the roof, and silly things like seat licenses were invented.
Your best bet is to try to track down a bunch of other people who want to see a game, pool your money for season tix and then split them up.

Me and my dad usually go to one Bear game a year, and just a hint, if you ever try to buy tickets, go onto to ticket master right after they become available, because if you don't get them then you'll have to go to Stub hub, which you can't whatever seat, you want but it will be much more expensive.

Re: Season tickets as low as $59 a game

I dont have a problem paying 59 dollars a game...I pay 39 dollars a game for Astros tickets and almost 200 dollars a game for University of Texas Season Tickets...dont even get me started on San Antonio Spurs tickets...I will be lucky if I make it to maybe 5 games in a season. Its just too overpriced to me. I would not complain about 59 a game though...especially in that new stadium...sitting up in the nose bleeds will still beat watching it at home on a 56 inch LCD...
