Boy did UConn get lucky!

Rashaad Anderson's shot that tied the game was unbelievable. He wasn't squared to the basket. His body flew off to the left but he still hit it.

I was watching with the sound off. Was that shot in O/T by Washington goaltending? It sure looked like it and I saw the Washington bench going ballistic.

So much for that "easy" road to the Final Four.

Of course, now all they have to do is beat 11th seed George Mason, who pulled yet another upset (albiet a minor one) by beating 7th seed Wichita St. yesterday. That should be an easy enough task. Er... right?

You never know. Connecticut has shown themselves to be very vulnerable in all of these games.

Who were the officials last night? Ray Allen, Caron Butler and Cliff Robinson? Holy smokes. 5 guys for Washington fouled out and they doubled them in FTA. That's insane.

Calhoun intimidates the refs. It's pathetic.

Does anybody think George Mason can hang tough with UConn? I think if they can keep it close they have a chance, but if UConn jumps on them early that it will be over before it starts.

UConn got alot of breaks, that's for sure. And after the game, Calhoun has the gall to complain about having to play George Mason in their own back yard!

UCONN came out strong in the beginning and then something happened to them. I cant decide whether its being over confident or if Washington figured them out. UCONN tends to play more like Duke all scientific and pro-like where Washington looks like they are on a playground. And yes that was goaltending..the ball was on the way down..so it was a good call. And I agree that three pointer was lucky. But I think George Mason is a cinderella...how did they get there anyway? Another lucky break for UCONN.
