Junior Blue Jackets' White teams cruises to 8-1 win
All-Star Game caps tryout camp; 25-man club roster expected to be announced on Wednesday
COLUMBUS, Ohio - Ohio Junior Blue Jackets White team forward Charles Brockett scored two goals in the span of seven seconds in the second period and added an assist to lead the White team to an 8-1 victory over the Blue team in the club's All-Star Game Friday night at the Dispatch Ice Haus. The game, which capped the three-day tryout camp, helped the coaching staff decide the final roster. The 25-man roster is expected to be announced on Wednesday.
The Junior Blue Jackets will begin their first season of play on October 7, when they host the Waterloo Black Hawks at Nationwide Arena. Game time is set for 7 p.m. Season tickets are now available for $299 by calling 1-800-NHL-COLS. |
