Columbus defeats Detroit

from yahoo:
Manny Malhotra provided the offense with two goals and a career-high three points, and the Blue Jackets held off the Detroit Red Wings 4-3 on Sunday to set a franchise record with 75 points.

Hurray for the Blue jackets. This has been a much better season than previous. Who cares fedorov left?
Norrena made 43 saves.
Tollefsen and Zherdev scored as well.
Kopecky and Franzen X2 scored for Detroit - hey they pulled hasek after he let in 4 goal on 10 shots.
Has that ever happened before? and it was columbus who chased him off the ice.

Well, at least we got that going for us...it's like that movie Caddie Shack...where Bill Murray says that the Dali Lama promised him total consciousness while in his death bed...and he adds..."at least I got that going for me."

As for Fedorov, I care...I liked him on the team...but well, Zherdev scored and it was Detroit...I can live with it.

A bittersweet victory though as we lost Passy for at least another 2 games after taking that puck to the head in warm ups. As long as Freddy can continue to get the goal support like the other night they might be alright....

Re: Columbus defeats Detroit

you know I'm not sure because at the beginning of the game they were announcing he wasn't starting due to flu like symptoms?? Then they came out later and said he was hurt in pregame so I'm assuming concussion if he's "tossing his cookies"......
