Cool Blue Jackets give up record to Stars

DALLAS (AP) -- The Dallas Stars now have a great reason to remember the 2005-06 season as more than the one that came after the lockout.
It's now the one with their most regular-season victories. Goaltender Turco came within 2:27 of reaching the milestone with a shutout, then ended up making a save just before time expired to preserve a 3-2 victory over the Columbus Blue Jackets on Tuesday night.

Hey, could have been worse...the hung in there and got to late 3rd period goals...that's a never give up attitude...

There's no shame in losing a one-goal game to a team as good as Dallas. I definitely get the feeling that your Blue Jackets are on their way to becoming a contender, Gotham. How soon do you think they can get there, and what pieces are they still lacking?

I don't see how we could miss next year...but our top line has to stay healthy...when they are healthy we win...Also, an upgrade on the goaltender might be nice...though I don't like to knock the current players...I save that for other teams...

Goaltending...Goalie Stats.doc

I will say as the #1 goaltender for the CBJ - Denis is terrible. Watching him play or attempt to, makes me sick. Check season stats for this year. They look close but as far as being the go to goaltender these stats are not that good. There is also that motivation factor which during a game Leclaire has better leadership skills. If they do stay healthy and make the goaltender change we would be in contention for as soon as next year.

Yeah, I knew you would bring up the goalie situation Stinger...I just didn't have the heart to be critical of the boys...I do think Leclaire is ready though.

Hey, the rest of the team is great! I'm only critizing Denis
Prusek would have been better playing more games.
