Cool Columbus shine wins 3rd straight

(3/31/06)

Still getting a good amount of offense even on the road, the Blue Jackets downed the Blues 4-2. Once again down 1-0 early in the 1st quarter, the Blue Jackets scored four unanswered goals. Rick Nash lead the way finding the net twice. Nash now has tallied 9 goals in the last 11 games.

Pascal Leclaire was solid in the net, as he faced 10 more shots than his Blue's counterpart.

Columbus has now put together three solid victories in a row....there is hope that they can carry this kind of momentum into next year.

Yeah, and I hear he could've had the hat trick, but his shot on an empty net was blocked. Ouch.

But hey, it's all good for your boys, Gotham. Nash has six goals and three assists in the last six games, and since his return, Columbus is 21-18-3. Color me impressed. This team could well be a playoff contender next year.

We at Columbus are all about inspiration and not giving up on the season....maybe you should take note of some of these players and have Toronto trade for them later next year...can'y hurt.

Re: Columbus shine wins 3rd straight

I think any team could benefit from having a guy like Nash on their roster.

Would you go as far as proclaiming him our first bonafide superstar?

9 goals in 11 games? He's not there yet, but he will be if he keeps playing like that.
