Yeah and then there's team captain Foote with a hurt - well, i could say foot, but I have to say ankle, or "high ankle". that is some smack in the face, GDK.
You never know, though. sometimes in adversity - that's how we pummeled the Islanders all those years ago.

I know how you feel - suppose I am feeling a bit smug because we are in 8th right now.
It's been a long time since we've sat in such a nice place, although 7th looks better.

Well at least we're getting a look at some of the youngsters on this team. That Methot on D is SOLID. what a great prospect! Platt got his first NHL goal last night (highlight reel type goal too) Aaron Johnson's back playing which is good to see he's another good one that's only getting better!! Sadly though Brian Berard is reportedly going to be flying out to LA to have the doctors look at his back which is begining to give him problems again...we may be seeing the end of a career here. Tons of talent just dealt some tough blows....The CBJ through all this have put together a 3 game winning streak (not surprisingly WITHOUT Foote....I'm just saying...) But the real test is Friday! I am O 'fer all year in games I've actually attended so we'll see if I can get the monkey off my back and root the CBJ to victory against Dallas...(it's not being televised locally so that's why I'm going) Wish me luck!!

I like Johnson, got a few of his rookie cards here somewhere...he played pretty good late last year.
