The Blue Jackets were shut out for the 13th time this season, extending their franchise record. Columbus has lost eight of 10 and started the day with the third-fewest points in the league.

What more needs to be said?

Re: Roloson blanks Blue Jackets 4-0

I think Petr Sykora put it best when in an interview prior to last nights game he was being questioned about Edmonton's 7 game road trip and how they have started it going 0-2-2. He said that luckily we are going to Columbus next so we'll be able to right this and get back on the winning side!!! This was told to the CBJ players before the game and what did they do...went out and proved what Sykora was saying..The CBJ are the doormat of the NHL!!!

Re: Roloson blanks Blue Jackets 4-0

No I think Doormat's the word we're looking for. We know they're a better team but the problem is they don't show it enough so comments like Sykora's are felt by many other players on bunch of teams. They just don't come out and say it. I'm sure players and probably even coaches around the league look at their calenders and when they see the CBJ they go "that should be a win". Now they probably don't say it you know they probably take the PC road and go we "we have to prepare hard, and do this and do that...blah, blah blah." When they're really going "hey guys looks like we're gonna get paid for practice tonight." I really believe the future is bright for the CBJ..well it's got to be the only way to go now is up!!..so I'll stay the course and I'm gonna keep rooting for them cause I know, just like when I was growing up a Pens fan, when their time comes they are gonna make some people choke on their own words and show EVERYONE what we already know...that the CBJ ARE #1 baby!!
