Columbus 2 Blues 3 (OT)
ST. LOUIS (AP) --
Chritian Backman scored 3:49 into overtime to give the St. Louis Blues a 3-2 victory over Columbus on Monday night, the Blue Jackets' first loss in 15 overtime games this season. On the winning goal, Keith Tkachuk broke in on the left side and fired a shot at Columbus goalie Pascal Leclaire. Jay McClement crashed into Leclaire, leaving an opening for Backman to put the rebound into the open net.
The Blue Jackets fell in overtime. But hey, they at least have been scoring lately...you got to walk before you run.... and that's 11 goals in the last 3 games. Nash scored on a give and go from Fedorov, which means that the line of Zherdev, Nash and Fedorov contiues to have good Chemistry. Chimera's goal was his 14th of the season, tying a his career high and extending his scoring streak to four games... Its good of the Blues to get a win when they still can this year...let them get it out of thier system...next year it will be a different story....We move on.
